High power test results of the SPARC C-band accelerating structures
/ Alesini, D. (Frascati) ; Bellaveglia, M. (Frascati) ; Biagini, M.E. (Frascati) ; Boni, R. (Frascati) ; Chimenti, P. (Frascati) ; Clementi, R. (Frascati) ; Di Pirro, G. (Frascati) ; Di Raddo, R. (Frascati) ; Ferrario, M. (v) ; Gallo, A. (Frascati) et al.
The energy upgrade of the SPARC photo-injector at
LNF-INFN (Italy) from 180 to more than 240 MeV will
be carried out by replacing a low gradient S-Band
accelerating structure with two C-band structures. The
structures are Traveling Wave (TW) and Constant
Impedance (CI), with symmetric axial input couplers and
have been optimized to work with a SLED RF input
pulse. [...]

Commissioning of the MICE RF System
/ Moss, A. (Daresbury) ; Wheelhouse, A. (Daresbury) ; Stanley, T. (Daresbury) ; White, C. (Daresbury) ; Ronald, K. (Strathclyde U.) ; Whyte, C.G. (Strathclyde U.) ; Dick, A.J. (Strathclyde U.) ; Speirs, D.C. (Strathclyde U.) ; Alsari, S. (Imperial Coll., London)
The Muon Ionisation Cooling Experiment (MICE) is being constructed at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory in the UK. The muon beam will be cooled using multiple hydrogen absorbers then reaccelerated using an RF cavity system operating at 201MHz. [...]

The RF System for the International Muon Ionisation Cooling Experiment
/ Ronald, K. (SUPA) ; Whyte, C.G. (SUPA) ; Dick, A.J. (SUPA) ; Speirs, D.C. (SUPA) ; Moss, A. (STFC DL) ; Grant, A. (STFC DL) ; White, C. (STFC DL) ; Griffiths, S. (STFC DL) ; Stanley, T. (STFC RAL) ; Li, D. (LBNL) et al.
The International Muon Ionisation Cooling Experiment (MICE) is designed to demonstrate the effectiveness of ionisation cooling to reduce the phase space footprint of a charged particle beam, principally to allow the subsequent acceleration of muons for next generation colliders and/or neutrino factories. The experiment (and indeed any subsequent accelerator cooling channel based on the same principles) poses certain unusual requirements on its RF system, whilst the precision measurement of the ionisation cooling process demands special diagnostics. A spallation-based irradiation test facility for fusion and future fission materials
/ Samec, K (CERN) ; Fusco, Y (CERN) ; Kadi, Y (CERN) ; Luis, R (CERN) ; Romanets, Y (CERN) ; Behzad, M (Sungkyunkwan U., Seoul) ; Aleksan, R (Paris, CEA) ; Bousson, S (CNRS, France ; Paris, IN2P3)
The EU’s FP7 TIARA program for developing accelerator-based facilities has recently demonstrated the unique capabilities of a compact and powerful spallation source for irradiating advanced nuclear materials. The spectrum and intensity of the neutron flux produced in the proposed facility fulfils the requirements of the DEMO fusion reactor for ITER, ADS reactors and also Gen III / IV reactors. [...]
