We present a strategy to extend lattice calculations of inclusive hadronic $τ$ decays from isosymmetric QCD to QCD+QED. The inclusive decay rate can be related to suitable Euclidean correlation functions, allowing for a first-principles evaluation of electromagnetic and isospin-breaking effects. [...]

We discuss the extraction of heavy-light pseudo-scalar to light pseudo-scalar decay form factors from finite time correlation functions. We place particular emphasis on the contamination from excited states employing summed ratios and input from chiral perturbation theory. [...]

Resonant Landau-Zener conversion in multi-axion systems

Multiple axions may emerge in the low-energy effective theory of Nature. Generically, the potentials describing these axion fields are non-diagonal, leading to mass mixing between axion states which can be temperature-dependent due to QCD instanton effects. [...]

Three-loop corrections to $gg\to ZH$ in the large top quark mass limit
/ Davies, Joshua (U. Liverpool (main)) ; Grau, Dominik (KIT, Karlsruhe) ; Schönwald, Kay (Zurich U.) ; Steinhauser, Matthias (KIT, Karlsruhe) ; Stremmer, Daniel (KIT, Karlsruhe)
We compute three-loop virtual corrections to the associated production of a Higgs boson with a $Z$ boson in the large-$m_t$ limit. We describe in detail the application of the asymptotic expansion and provide, for all form factors, analytic results for the first three terms in the $1/m_t$ expansion. [...]

Magnusian : relating the eikonal phase, the on-shell action, and the scattering generator

Two fundamentally distinct types of quantities are both called "eikonal" in present amplitudes literature. The unitarity of the S-matrix ensures it can be written as the exponential of a Hermitian operator. [...]

Fast and Flexible Neutrino Decoupling Part I: The Standard Model
/ Escudero, M. (CERN) ; Jackson, G. (SUBATECH, Nantes) ; Laine, M. (U. Bern (main)) ; Sandner, S. (Los Alamos)
Cosmological determinations of the number of relativistic neutrino species, $N^{ }_{\rm eff}$, are becoming increasingly accurate, and further improvements are expected both from CMB and BBN data. Given this context, we update the evaluation of $N^{ }_{\rm eff}$ and the current entropy density via the momentum-averaged approach. [...]

Near-extremal membranes in M-theory
/ Buchel, Alex (Western Ontario U.) ; Monten, Ruben (CERN)
We consider near-extremal membranes embedded in M-theory, consistently truncated to gauged $\mathcal{N} = 2$ supergravity in four dimensions on the coset space $M^{1,1,0}$. These are holographically dual to $2 + 1$ dimensional superconformal gauge theory with $U(1)_R \times U(1)_B$ global symmetry. [...]
