Overview of the NA60+ experiment at the CERN SPS / Alocco, Giacomo (Cagliari U. ; INFN, Cagliari) /NA60+ Collaboration
NA60+ is a new experiment designed to study the phase diagram of the strongly interacting matter at CERN SPS energies, where the values of the baryochemical potential μB approximately range between 200 and 550 MeV. It is focused on precision studies of thermal dimuons, heavy quarks, and strangeness production in Pb–Pb collisions at center of mass energies ranging from 6 to 17 GeV per nucleon pair. [...]

Commissioning and first collisions with the LHCb SMOG2 system / Mariani, Saverio (CERN) /LHCb Collaboration
Owing to the injection of gas in the CERN LHC accelerator beampipe through the System for Measuring Overlap with Gas (SMOG), the LHCb experiment has been pioneering since 2015 fixed-target physics at the highest energy ever reached. Within the upgrade of the experiment, a confinement cell for the gas, SMOG2, and a new gas injection system were installed. [...]

ALICE Highlights / Arsene, Ionut Cristian (Oslo U.) /ALICE Collaboration
A summary including highlights of recent ALICE results, the status of the data taking in LHC Run 3 and of the ALICE detector upgrades is shown. The physics results are obtained mainly using the data recorded in pp, p–Pb and Pb–Pb during the LHC Run 2, but a set of results obtained in pp collisions with the Run 3 data is also discussed..

CMS Upgrades for the High-Luminosity LHC Era / Fernandez Perez Tomei, Thiago Rafael /CMS Collaboration
The High-Luminosity LHC (HL-LHC) era, set to begin in 2029, will provide the general-purpose experiments with an instantaneous luminosity of up to $\mathcal{L} = 7.5 \times 10^{34}$ cm$^{-2}$ s$^{-1}$ from pp collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 14 TeV. To fully exploit this unprecedented data set, the experimental setups must be upgraded to withstand the challenging conditions of the HL-LHC, including up to 200 simultaneous collisions per bunch crossing and a substantial radiation dose delivered to the detectors. ALICE Forward Calorimeter (FoCal): Physics program and performance / Jonas, Florian (LBL, Berkeley ; UC, Berkeley) /ALICE Collaboration
This contribution outlines the physics program and performance of the Forward Calorimeter (FoCal), which is a planned new detector subsystem for the ALICE experiment in Run 4. The forward pseudorapidity coverage of 3.2 < η < 5.8 allows to study the gluon density in hadronic matter down to x ∼ 10−6 and enables the search for gluon saturation at the LHC..

LHCb Overview / Durham, J Matthew (Los Alamos) /LHCb Collaboration
The LHCb experiment has a complete heavy ion physics program, including studies of pp, pA, AA, and UPC events delivered by the Large Hadron Collider, along with a rapidly expanding fixed-target capability. With unique acceptance and detector capabilities, LHCb reaches across the widest range of Bjorken x that is available in the laboratory, accesses an incomparably broad array of light and heavy quark states, and provides measurements of forward bulk phenomena, all down to very low pT. [...]

Experimental overview: Quarkonium production in relativistic particle collisions / Ståhl Leiton, Andre Govinda (CERN)
Quarkonium provides a golden probe of the formation of the Quark Gluon Plasma (QGP). Its production in heavy-ion collisions can be affected by an interplay of different phenomena such as medium-induced dissociation and heavy-quark (re)combination in the QGP, and cold nuclear matter effects due to the presence of the nucleus. [...]

Bulk flow and correlation measurements at LHCb / Wong, Cheuk-Ping (Brookhaven) /LHCb Collaboration
Particle correlations are a powerful tool to study the properties of the bulk nuclear matter produced in relativistic heavy ion collisions. The momentum correlations between identical particles originating from the same particleemitting source, referred to as the Bose-Einstein correlations, measure scales that are related to the geometrical size of the source. [...]

Measurements of (anti)(hyper)nuclei with ALICE / Vorobyev, Ivan (CERN) /ALICE Collaboration
The investigation of the production mechanism of light (anti)(hyper)nuclei in ultrarelativistic hadronic collisions is one of the main topics in modern nuclear physics. The ALICE Collaboration has significantly contributed to this specific field of research with systematic measurements of the production of (anti)(hyper)nuclei in different collision systems and centre-ofmass energies provided by the Large Hadron Collider. [...]
