ME0 Quality Control Results from Initial Productions /CMS Collaboration
As the High-Luminosity upgrade of the Large Hadron Collider (HL-LHC) is scheduled to begin in 2026, the CMS muon system is being upgraded. One of its main upgrades is the installation of Gas Electron Multiplier (GEM) detectors, ME0, in the very forward region of the CMS endcap ($2.0 < \lvert \eta \rvert < 2.8$). Mass production of the ME0 modules started in April 2024 and is progressing smoothly. [...]

GE1/1 Operation Plots /CMS Collaboration
This document presents a study on the performance of the CMS GE1/1 chambers in daily operation. It shows efficiency results in 2024, also at very high granularity, the evolution of the short circuits in the detectors as well as details on the improvements applied to the trigger timing during the 2024 data taking period..

The Iterative CLustering (TICL) (v5a) reconstruction at the CMS Phase-2 High Granularity Calorimeter Endcap /CMS Collaboration
In this note we show the development and results achieved with the new version of The Iterative CLustering (TICL) (version 5a), being developed for particle flow reconstruction in CMS during Phase 2 of the LHC, using the High Granularity Calorimeter (HGCAL). Version 5a means that is the alpha version, the first pre-release of TICLv5 as its development is still ongoing and will be closed at the end of 2024. This new version consists in two new algorithms added for the Linking step, better usage of the timing information and a better TICLCandidate reconstruction. The first algorithm introduced is dedicated for the E/Gamma reconstruction, and it consists of a DNN that replaces the current Mustache Superclustering for the electron and photon superclustering. The second algorithm, instead, replaces the Geometrical Linking algorithm that was introduced with TICLv4. This new algorithm recovers the inefficiencies of the old Geometrical Linking, trying to collect as much energy as possible looking also around the core of the shower. Lots of improvements have been made also on the HGCAL Trackster time information and on its usage. [...]

Discharge Studies in a CMS ME0 GEM Detector /CMS Collaboration
The LHC is undergoing an upgrade to increase the instantaneous luminosity by half an order of magnitude; as a result, several detector systems are undergoing upgrades to operate at this higher luminosity. One such upgrade is the introduction of the ME0 GEM detectors in the endcap muon system of the CMS detector, which will extend pseudorapidity acceptance for muons to $\lvert\eta\rvert = 2.8$. [...]

Level-1 Trigger Performance in 2024 Proton-Proton Collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 13.6$ TeV /CMS Collaboration
In 2024, the CMS experiment collected a record-large data set of proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 13.6$ TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 114 $\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$. This note summarizes the performance of the CMS Level-1 Trigger system to identify and select muons, jets, transverge energy sums, electrons/photons, and hadronically decaying tau leptons in this data set..

Model-Independent Real-Time Anomaly Detection at the CMS Level-1 Calorimeter Trigger with CICADA /CMS Collaboration
In the search for new physics, real-time detection of anomalous events is critical for maximizing the discovery potential at the LHC. CICADA (Calorimeter Image Convolutional Anomaly Detection Algorithm) is a novel CMS trigger algorithm operating at the 40 MHz collision rate. [...]
