Sensor Quality Control and Annealing Studies of HGCAL Silicon Sensors / Gul Dincer, Gizem (Institut für Experimentelle Teilchenphysik, Karlsruhe, Germany) /CMS Collaboration
The CMS detector at the CERN Large Hadron Collider is undergoing major upgrades for the High-Luminosity LHC (HL-LHC), including the replacement of its endcap calorimeters with the High Granularity Calorimeter (HGCAL). The electromagnetic section (CE-E) and the high-radiation regions of the hadronic section (CE-H) will employ radiation-tolerant, fast-response silicon pad sensors, collectively covering a surface area of approximately 620 m². CMS Phase 2 Outer Tracker 2S Module Assembly / Kumar Pal, Kuldeep (National Institute of Science Education and Research, Jatni, Khorda, Odisha 752050, India Homi Bhabha National Institute, Training School Complex, Anushakti Nagar, Mumbai 400094, India, Odisha, India) /CMS Collaboration
To cope up with enhanced interaction rates during the High Luminosity operation of the LHC (HL-LHC), the CMS Outer Tracker (OT) is being upgraded with specialized strip-strip (2S) modules with capability of track selection at the hardware level. The assembly of such silicon strip tracker modules consist a multi-step procedure with the usage of several machineries and precision fixtures. [...]

The 3D pixel tracker of the CMS Precision Proton Spectrometer in Run 3 / Gianatti, Anna (INFN Sezione di Genova (a); Università di Genova (b), Genova, Italy) /CMS Collaboration
The CMS Precision Proton Spectrometer (PPS) was designed for measuring protons that escape along the LHC beam line after the interaction in CMS. It successfully took data during the LHC Run 2, collecting more than 110 fb-1 of integrated luminosity, and since 2022 is taking data in Run 3, having already collected more than 230 fb-1. [...]

Searches for Exotica (CMS) / Kotsarini, Maria (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Athens, Greece) /CMS Collaboration
In this work, recent CMS searches for physics beyond the Standard Model are presented using Run 2 and Run 3 proton?proton collision data. The focus is on analyses that explore challenging regions of phase space, enabled by data scouting techniques and advanced reconstruction methods. [...]

Searches for heavy and vector-like fermions, and leptoquarks with the ATLAS and CMS experiments / Di Fraia, Carlo (INFN Sezione di Napoli (a); Università di Napoli 'Federico II' (b); Università della Basilicata (Potenza) (c); Scuola Superiore Meridionale (SSM) (d), Napoli, Italy) /CMS Collaboration
The Standard Model of particle physics explains many natural phenomena yet remains incomplete. Leptoquarks (LQs) are hypothetical particles predicted to mediate interactions between quarks and leptons, bridging the gap between these two fundamental classes of particles. [...]

Status and prospects of rare decay searches at ATLAS and CMS / Buonsante, Marco (INFN, Bari ; Bari U.) /ATLAS and CMS Collaborations
Rare decays with dimuon and multimuon final states provide clean tests of the Standard Model at the LHC. This proceeding summarizes recent ATLAS and CMS results on $B_{(s)}^0\to\mu^+\mu^-$, including branching-fraction measurements and effective-lifetime information, together with the first Run~3 search for $D^0\to\mu^+\mu^-$ and the full Run~2 angular analysis of $B^0\to K^{*0}\mu^+\mu^-$. Upgrade of the CMS Muon System with GEM Detectors / Thakur, Shalini (Tarapaca U.) /CMS Collaboration
The CMS detector is being upgraded for the High-Luminosity LHC (HL-LHC) run to begin in 2030. As part of the upgrade, the forward muon system is being strengthened with Gas Electron Multiplier (GEM) detectors to ensure robust performance in high-luminosity and high-background conditions in the forward region of the CMS detector. Operational performance of the CMS Strip Tracker during LHC Run 3 / Sneh Shuchi Sneh /CMS Collaboration
The CMS silicon strip tracker consists of the inner barrel (TIB), inner discs (TID), outer barrel (TOB), and end-cap (TEC) sub-detectors, providing precise measurements for charged particle trajectories up to a pseudorapidity range of $\lvert \eta \rvert < 2.5$. During Run 3 with proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 13.6~\mathrm{TeV}$, the CMS strip tracker continues to perform exceedingly well superseding its design goals. [...]
