Study of $t\bar{t}$ threshold effects in $e\mu$ differential distributions measured in $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV $pp$ collisions with the ATLAS detector
The recent ATLAS measurement of the normalised $e\mu$ dilepton invariant mass and azimuthal angle distributions in $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV $pp$ collisions at the Large Hadron Collider is extended to study the sensitivity to the formation of quasi-bound states near the $t\bar{t}$ threshold. [...]

Measurement of $\gamma$ using $B^\pm \to D K^\pm$ and $B^\pm \to D \pi^\pm$ decays with $D \to K_{\rm S}^0 \pi^+\pi^-$ and $D \to K_{\rm S}^0 K^+K^-$
A measurement of the CKM angle $\gamma$ using the decay channels $B^{\pm}\rightarrow DK^{\pm}$ and $B^{\pm}\rightarrow D\pi^{\pm}$, where the $D$ meson decays to $D\rightarrow K_{\rm S}^{0}\pi^{+}\pi^{-}$ or $D\rightarrow K_{\rm S}^{0}K^{+}K^{-}$, is performed with a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.8 fb$^{-1}$, collected during 2024 by the upgraded LHCb experiment. Beam Loss Consequences / Lerner, Giuseppe (CERN)
The operation of high-energy and high-intensity particle accelerators inevitably leads to the loss of a fraction of beam particles, either through controlled processes or accidental events. [...]
