Measurements of top properties and mass in ATLAS / Bartos, Pavol (Comenius University (SK)) /ATLAS Collaboration
The top-quark mass is one of the key fundamental parameters of the Standard Model that must be determined experimentally. Its value has an important effect on many precision measurements and tests of the Standard Model. [...]

Searches for BSM physics in resonant final states with the ATLAS detector / Hulsken, Raphael Alain (McGill University, (CA)) /ATLAS Collaboration
Many theories beyond the Standard Model (BSM) have been proposed to address several of the Standard Model shortcomings, such as the origin of dark matter and neutrino masses, the fine-tuning of the Higgs Boson mass, or the observed pattern of masses and mixing angles in the quark and lepton sectors. Many of these BSM extensions predict new particles or interactions directly accessible at the LHC. [...]

Top quark cross sections including ttbar, single top and Top+X in ATLAS / Novak, Tadej (Jozef Stefan Institute (SI)) /ATLAS Collaboration
The exceptionally large dataset collected by the ATLAS detector at the highest proton-proton collision energies provided by the LHC enables precision testing of theoretical predictions using an extensive sample of top quark events. Measurements of the inclusive top quark production rates at the LHC have reached a precision of several percent and test advanced Next-to-Next-to-Leading Order predictions in QCD. [...]

Anomaly Detection for Ultra Low Latency Event Selection at the LHC (ATLAS) / Martinez Suarez, Paula (CERN) /ATLAS Collaboration
The LHC is a particle accelerator which can provide up to 40 MHz of proton-proton collisions to its various experiments. In ATLAS, this data is filtered in real time down to 100 kHz in order to meet the readout constraints. [...]

Searches for BSM physics
using challenging and
long-lived signatures
with the ATLAS detector / Bruce, Laura Elaine (Harvard University (US)) /ATLAS Collaboration
Various theories beyond the Standard Model predict new, long-lived particles with unique signatures which are difficult to reconstruct and for which estimating the background rates is also a challenge. Signatures from displaced and/or delayed decays anywhere from the inner detector to the muon spectrometer, as well as those of new particles with fractional or multiple values of the charge of the electron or high mass stable charged particles are all examples of experimentally demanding signatures. [...]

Recent Diboson and VBF single-boson measurements in ATLAS / Toffolin, Leonardo (Universita degli Studi di Udine (IT)) /ATLAS Collaboration
Measurement of diboson and VBF single-boson events is a unique venue at the LHC, offering precision test of SM QCD and EW predictions at unprecedented accuracies relevant to this sector, and sensitive probe of the non-Abelian structure of SM EW theory, leading to stringent constraints on Effective Field Theory Wilson coefficients. This talk will summarize recent achievements from ATLAS on this topic..

Precise measurement of inclusive dijet production with the ATLAS detector / Polacek, Stanislav (Charles University (CZ)) /ATLAS Collaboration
Inclusive dijet cross-sections have been measured in proton–proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV using data with an integrated luminosity of 140 fb−1, recorded by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider during 2015–2018. Jets are identified using the anti-kt algorithm with a radius parameter of R=0.4. [...]

Associated top quark productions by ATLAS and CMS / Babal, Dominik (Slovak Academy of Sciences (SK)) /ATLAS Collaboration
The high center-of-mass energy of proton-proton collisions and the large available datasets at the CERN Large Hadron Collider allow the study of rare processes of the Standard Model with unprecedented precision. Measurements of rare SM processes provide new tests of the SM predictions with the potential to unveil discrepancies with the SM predictions or provide important input for the improvement of theoretical calculations. Search for massive, long-lived particles in events with displaced vertices and displaced muons at sqrt(s) =13.6 TeV with the ATLAS experiment / Duden, Emily Rose (Brandeis University (US)) /ATLAS Collaboration
This talk presents a search for massive long-lived particles (LLPs) in events featuring displaced vertices (DVs) and displaced muons, using 13.6 TeV proton–proton collision data collected by the ATLAS detector between 2022 and 2024. The analysis benefits from displaced muon triggers newly introduced in ATLAS for LHC Run 3, increasing the sensitivity to lower mass LLPs, as well as improved tracking and vertexing algorithms for reconstructing displaced decay signatures over a broad lifetime range.
