Measurement of R$_{2}$($\Delta_\eta$, $\Delta_\varphi$) and $P_2$ ($\Delta_\eta$, $\Delta_\varphi$) correlation functions in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ $=$ TeV with ALICE
/ Sahoo, Baidyanath (Indian Inst. Tech., Mumbai)
/ALICE Collaboration
In high-energy collisions, the mechanism of particle production, diffusivity, and conservation of charge and momentum are all revealed by the two-particle normalised cumulants of particle number correlations (R$_{2}$) and transverse momentum, p$_{T}$, correlations (P$_{2}$), which are measured as a function of relative pseudorapidity and relative azimuthal angle difference (Δη, Δφ). We measure these observables in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ $=$ TeV with transverse momentum (p$_{T}$) range of 0.2 - 2.0 GeV/c, to complement the recent ALICE measurements in Pb–Pb collisions and for a better understanding of the jet contribution and nature of collectivity in small systems. Results on light (anti)hypernuclei production with ALICE at the LHC
/ Bartsch, Esther (Frankfurt U.)
/ALICE Collaboration
The high collision energies reached at the LHC lead to significant production yields of light (anti)hypernuclei in proton–proton (pp), proton–lead (p–Pb) and, in particular, Pb–Pb collisions. The lightest known hypernucleus is the hypertriton, which is a bound state of a proton, a neutron, and a Λ hyperon. [...]

Exploring charm-quark fragmentation with correlation and jet measurements by ALICE
/ Sadhu, Samrangy (Bonn U.)
/ALICE Collaboration
Fragmentation functions, one of the key components of the factorisation theorem used for computing cross sections for heavy-flavour hadron production, are typically constrained in $\textrm e^{+}\textrm e^{-}$ and $\rm e^{-}p$ collisions due to their non-perturbative nature. However, recent measurements of charm-hadron spectra and ratios at the LHC have questioned the universality of fragmentation functions across leptonic and hadronic collision systems. This contribution presents measurements of heavy-flavour tagged jets and correlation measurements involving heavy-flavour hadrons. These measurements provide complementary, and more differential, insights on heavy-quark production, fragmentation and hadronization with respect to more inclusive observables. The studies presented include measurements of the $p_{\rm T}$-differential cross section of D$^{0}$-tagged charm-jets and the longitudinal jet momentum fraction carried by D$^{0}$ mesons and $\rm{\Lambda^{+}_{c}}$ baryons reconstructed inside jets in pp collisions. Characterising the QGP with heavy flavour hadrons with ALICE: state of the art and prospects
/ Mazzilli, Marianna (Wigner RCP, Budapest)
/ALICE Collaboration
A transition to a phase of matter made of deconfined quarks and gluons, called the quark-gluonplasma (QGP), occurs in ultrarelativistic heavy-ion collisions. Heavy-flavour quarks (charm andbeauty), because of their large mass, are mainly produced through hard scattering processes, ona shorter timescale with respect to the formation time of the QGP. [...]

Evaluation of efficiency, radiation hardness, and timing performance of the Analogue Pixel Test Structure for ALICE ITS3
/ Liu, J (Liverpool U.)
/ALICE Collaboration
A replacement of the three innermost layers of the new ALICE Inner Tracking System (ITS2), referred to as ITS3, is planned for the LHC Long Shutdown 3 (2026–2028) to further enhance tracking precision and efficiency. The ITS3 is designed as a cylindrically bent silicon vertex detector, utilizing stitched, wafer-scale sensors developed with the Tower Partners Semiconductor Co. [...]

Power distribution over the wafer-scale monolithic pixel detector — MOSAIX for ALICE ITS3
/ Aglieri Rinella, G (CERN) ; Bugiel, S (CERN) ; Dobrijevic, D (CERN) ; Lemoine, C (CERN) ; Snoeys, W (CERN) ; Vicente Leitao, P (CERN)
/ALICE Collaboration
For the LS3 ALICE ITS3 upgrade the detector material budget reduction has been pushed to the limit by proposing a system composed almost exclusively of silicon wafer thinned down to 50μm. This improves performance, but adds complexity to the ASIC design. [...]
